ABLS Librarian's Guide to Accessibility

Make your library accessible

About this Guide

This guide was developed by ABLS staff to help library staff offer a more accessible library experience. It offers an overview of what accessibility in libraries means. Then more specifics about accessible library services, programs and technology. Use the tabs to navigate each facet of accessibility as it relates to libraries. It is important to remember that even though we divide accessibility into facets, each concept is not a silo. All facets of accessibility work together as a cohesive total approach. Often we may speak about each individual facet but the connection between each part should be noted.
