NC Literary Trails: Eastern

This guide explores some of the authors mentioned in the Literary Trails of North Carolina Guidebooks by Georgann Eubanks and explores how they connect to various North Carolina locations.

The Eastern Trails

Author Georgann Eubanks divides the Eastern part of the state into three "trails": the Southeastern Corridor runs from Raleigh to Wilmington, the Middle Corridor travels from eastern Wake County to Carteret County, and finally the Northeastern Corridor covers Wake Forest to the northern Outer Banks. Literary stops include William Peace University, 1898 Memorial Park, Gertrude Weil House, and the Topsail Towers.
